TRANSITION Class

GCES is providing a collaboration of special education and therapeutic services to prepare children to transition into the school setting.   Students in our transition class will receive daily instruction and support by certified special teachers and therapists. Whether you choose to continue with homeschool, micro-school, private school, or public school, our team is committed to finding way to help your child thrive!

• Entering kindergarten
• Skipping kindergarten
• Homeschooled
• Struggling with the regular school setting in K-1st

**Please be aware that although academic instruction will be provided, the focus of this group is adaptation to the school environment through behavioral supports and sensory integration.  This is NOT an academic preparatory class.  If more intensive academic instruction is desired, additional tutoring sessions may be available. 

Monday-Thursday  8:00-11:00am

**Holidays will typically follow that of the local school district.  Parents will receive copy of schedule for the school year upon enrollment.

Full-time: Monday-Thursday 8:00-11:00am: $350/month

Part-time: May be determined on a case-by-case basis and depends on availability and individual student needs

Tuition includes:

• specialized instruction
• individualized curriculum
• progress notes
• parent consultations
• transition advocacy

• ABA Therapy
• Speech-Language Therapy
• Occupational Therapy

**These additional services are dependent on personal insurance authorizations or private-pay arrangements.  Services can be integrated, schedule separately, or both, depending on individual needs and approvals.

**Regardless of insurance coverage, our team will be using the expertise of all disciplines to provide the most effective instructional methods possible.

While we are prepared to meet most individual needs, we are also dedicated to ensuring a safe and productive environment for all students.  Students that present safety concerns may be referred to more individualized services.
